My word!

My grandma is a very funny person. Most of the time, she doesn't mean to be, but she is. She really does keep us all laughing. I see her almost every day because I check on her to make sure she's taken her pills, etc.

The other day, she was telling me something and then she paused to ask me what day it was. I told her Tuesday to which she responded, "Oh my memory! I can't even remember how old I am! How old am I anyway?"

"You're 98!" I said (yelled really - she can hardly hear).

She said to me (almost laughing), "Oh, my word!!! I've never heard of anyone in my family being 98 years old! Goodness gracious!"

See what I mean? Doesn't mean to be, but she's FUNNY!
