The Beginning

I have a few wonderful friends who have blogs, and one of them keeps telling me that I should have a blog of my own. I've hesitated to do so for sometime now because my writing skills are elementary compared to hers. However, after hearing for the umpteenth time, "see, that's a story for your blog!" I have finally decided to join the world of storytellers, drone on-ers, and even a few just plain braggers; and am officially declaring myself a "blogger"! (Although I must admit that during my teen/twenty years, I was sure that there things that happened to me that were SO dramatic/hillarious/etc. that I could write a book about them.)

So Celeste, I raise my mouse to you and begin this blog in order to refine my storytelling skills with the hopes that someday, I will be as good as you. (Or at least as good as my husband!)

Cheers honey! or would our mice (or mouses) say ("click"). Anyway blog on. You are loaded with stories. You'll be surprised how quickly you learn that the writing ability has nothing to do with the funny involved. A good story is a good story no matter what. You have three children, a husband, two dogs and a rabbit, a sister and brother, you herd children who sing for "fun" and ministry, you lead a bible study of women who get themselves involved in all kinds of poop, you drop in and teach preschoolers stuff.....really, you're a perfect blog specimen waiting to happen. I'll check in often. I expect a story of some kind next time. BTW, a story from your teens/twenties would be very exciting.
